Let Me Take a Moment....

At a time when I am performing as a stay-at-home-mom and my child is driving me crazy {I can admit that right? :)} I need to take this moment to appreciate that I often find my little munchkin doing this:

Just sitting down quietly and reading his books. This day he was seriously going through his books for about 20 minutes. That is a long time in toddler time! After a long period of silence, I can still find that he has climbed up in the recliner of his room after choosing a book from his shelf. Almost everyday at some point he will move ALL his transportation vehicles up to the table and just "vroom" away.

So, I am taking this time to realize that amidst the crying and yelling and hitting and fit throwing and communication barriers (yeah fun times) he is such a great little boy that can entertain himself quite well.
