Beach Day #2

Aiden and I headed down to check out the beach. Even though he looks like a beach native in his gear and sunglasses, he was not into the ocean and the waves coming at him so he preferred to stay up in the sand.
He loved watching the boats and planes that went by through out the day. This year he didn't eat the sand!
We decided to check out the pool so we could cool down. This hotel has 2 pools and one is very kid friendly with 2 water slides, waterfall, and a whirlpool.
Aiden and I tried the water slide together and he loved it! Eventually when Jason joined us I was able to get pictures.

We took a break from the slide so Aiden could jump off the ledge a few hundred times. I was shocked at how daring he was with the water since he hadn't any pool experience yet this summer.
More slide...
We visited the beach again with Uncle Sean and his girlfriend Sarah and the boys went out and jumped some waves. The water was pretty cold but I was hot enough at one point (plus the little one had fallen asleep) to join them.
He was all tuckered out...
Jason decided to bury Sean....such a typical thing to do at the beach and I can't remember the last time I was involved in the task, so glad we did it :) And I use the word "we" not as I was involved in any of the labor (haha) but as in Sarah and I supervised and took pictures. Still very important :) Felt like kids again!
Can you see Aiden sleeping in background? LOL He blends in almost too well.
Of course Jason gave him boobs, how could we resist?
Then Jason gave him a "sand castle" :)
Later that night we had a good dinner and spent more time on the boardwalk.
Aiden shared his ice cream cone with his Uncle Sean.
