21 months!!

June 27th:
Aiden turned 21 months while we in VA. That day Jason and his Dad built him a house out of the box from patio furniture they bought. Jason got way into it and added a chimney and another window. I'm not sure who had more fun :) But I guess that is what makes it a great toy huh?
Aiden is doing great. Although he is throwing more fits and gets pretty mad when we say no OR when we don't know what he is saying. This is what we get when he is mad:
Lovely eh? I think this is when we told him we had to go inside. I have to say a lot of the problem is the communication barrier we still have. Who wouldn't be frustrated when you are trying to tell someone what you want, you know what you are trying to say, but no one understands you? He is getting better at talking but we still have a ways to go before we get rid of ALL our frustrations. He doesn't eat as easily as he used to, meaning I got myself a picky one now. He'll still eat vegetables though and LOVES salad so I still won't complain too much. One thing I can say about Aiden at this point is he is all boy. He wants all kinds of cars (we have watched the movie too many times to count) and trains ("choo choo") and loves to say vroom vroom and of course the climbing and running all over the place. Unfortunately, he has started to hit or head butt and even pinches sometimes. We are working on it :( But amidst the tantrums, whining, hitting and vrooming of cars I do have a polite boy. He says please and thank you and it warms my heart when he does it. So we are almost at 2....why am I scared? :)
