Ocean City! Day 3

We found ourselves right back out on the beach the next day. We set up our area and enjoyed the views...
...however, it was HOT! I mean, nasty hot. Did you see that unhappy boy in the background? The kind of hot where the water is the only option. And when a certain little 3 year old doesn't want to go in the water...it leads to a very hot and grumpy little boy.
Can you see the dripping sweat?
So, Jason and I did what all good parents do and decided to force him into the water as he cried in fear. It seems harsh but we new he needed to cool off. Sure enough, when his feet hit the water he knew that it felt so much better and that as long as Daddy didn't let him go...everything would be fine. We inched our way further in so that the waves were hitting his body and he was all smiles.
All Smiles
Grandma joined the fun
After that it was as if he became an ocean pro because he was ready to go out and jump waves with Daddy and Grandpa. He was as happy as can be!
We took a break and got lunch and ice cream for the boy...then had some more beach time where I got to do some more reading (Hunger Games!), Aiden had some sand time, and we goofed off with Grandma's sunglasses (the boys make fun however, I love them!). But it didn't take long for Aiden to want to get back to jumping waves.
The lady came for our umbrellas and chairs and we had to retreat to our rooms to get ready for dinner and the boardwalk. We went down to the carnival part of the boardwalk and Aiden was able to go on all the old school rides that have been around a LONG time...the same ones he was on 2 years ago.
The Carousel!
Giving Daddy his horns
The boats!
The cars!
The train!
Time for his first teacups with Uncle Sean
Grandma waiting patiently
Ended on the airplanes!
While the little one enjoyed the airplanes, the inner children of Sean and Jason decided to go on the roller coaster for a thrill.
