Happy Fourth of July!

Celebrating the 4th of July on the beach is one fantastic way to do it! We headed out to the beach at about 10 am and Aiden enjoyed lots of hole digging, sand castle building, and sand crab finding. However, no wave jumping because he was still afraid of the water.

After the beach we had dinner at Phillips with Jill and Ashley who surprised us that day when they showed up to hang out. Aiden couldn't even make it through his dinner and passed out at the table, he was exhausted!

Wiped Out!

We headed back to the hotel and watched fireworks on the beach. That was really neat! We were a good distance away from the ones at the end of the boardwalk so I thought Aiden wouldn't be so scared. I was wrong. Lots of people brought their own and shot them off right above us in addition to the show, so it was very loud and right over us. Aiden wasn't so happy. I spent the whole time covering his ears over his hands because he needed DOUBLE coverage. So I wouldn't say it was perfect but I thought it was a good show.
