My dad got Aiden a nice big "gym set" (that's what they call them these days but it's a swing set to me!) for his birthday and was finally able to make it down here to help build it. Like we were going to do that ourselves?! Ha! :) We even talked Ashley and Levi into helping and then my mom came too....boy was that a very very very good thing! We started at about 11 am and were still not done by the time it got dark. It was a BEAST! I put my skills to good use in the beginning and helped organize and label. This may have been my only real help for the day but it was quite important! Then I was documenting the day via camera :)
It looked quite scary when it was all laid out and I'm pretty sure most of were thinking, "Why did we do this?" but we took it step by step and worked together and did an awesome job. You will see throughout the pictures Aiden's idea of helping and how he thinks he is an expert at using tools.

It was shortly after this we had to call it a night and surrender to the sunset. Everyone was exhausted! Today Jason woke up and built the top and put on the finishing touches....voila!
Aiden is one lucky little boy. Thank you Grandma Carter for the wonderful gift that Aiden will be able to enjoy for years to come! We love you!
