Happy Halloween! Yeehaw!

Last year he was Buzz, this year Woody. When Aiden saw the costume he had to have it so I figured it was a good choice. Here he was wearing the hat and loving it more than a month ago:
Unfortunately, we bought it too early because he was all about it at first, trying it on and checking himself out...
...but it wore off! Last night did not go as smoothly! At first he was all for playing in his cowboy boots...
...then when we needed him to wear them with his costume, he refused and then he would not wear the hat either. Getting ready was interesting and Jason tried to distract him as much as possible.
We went and spent Halloween with Tricia and her family at their house. Once he had pumpkin in hand he was excited and ready to go!
Tricia's family pulled out all the stops and had a really festive set up outside with a BBQ, movie screen, and a trailer to take us up and down the streets on. It was pretty cool.
When I got there I started shooting pictures like a crazy woman! :) Any pictures (the very few) with the hat were snapped very quickly after the hat was thrown on him or while he was distracted with Misty's costume. Regardless of his own agenda on his costume, he was way cute and that's all that matters.
Check out his face LOL
Kitty Kat with the Queen of Hearts
Jason's "costume"
Baby Jesse as a puppy...too cute!
Aiden insisted on double fisting pumpkins!
Grandma came to celebrate with us :)
Not liking the the glow necklace
Ready for trick or treating!
Everyone loaded up onto the trailer and we were pulled around to each street. Aiden would not put down one of the pumpkins so he set off with 2 pumpkins and a sucker in his mouth. He was ready. A few houses in he finally got the hang of "trick or treat" and was saying it like a good boy. It was the sweetest thing ever!
Check out the DeLorean car in background
Finally put down a pumpkin to carry around a gun...go figure
After trick or treating we headed back to eat dinner, watch movies, and finish handing out candy. Aiden had lots of fun and wanted to go back out to trick or treat again. It was a lot of fun and we are very grateful to have been invited to spend it with Tricia's family. Happy Halloween!
