First loose tooth!!!

Aiden has had a rough week. The fever from Monday...that spiked to 103.8 in the middle of the night...became what I assume is the flu. He has had a fever of about 101 (give or take) consistently since that Monday spike. He has wanted to mainly rest and sleep and he feels like crap. Then today while he was at Tricia's he realized he had his first loose tooth. He freaked. He didn't want to show me, was afraid I'd pull it out, or he'd swallow it while eating or sleeping. Damage control! We talked about how exciting it was, I showed him tons of smiling toothless kids, reminded him of the tooth fairy and then he finally came around and was able to smile about it. I took him for a celebratory ice cream cone and he even finally let me wiggle it myself and take video for Daddy. Funny thing is, it does happen to be the very first one he got as a baby. He's finally excited for this process and I can't believe we are here...he's growing so fast! In this picture you can see it in his eyes that he is still pretty sick...poor baby...
