9 months!

The last month has seem to seriously fly by and she has been working really hard at walking. She was in over drive after she turned 8 months and started mastering balancing for longer periods of time and was able to take her first mini step on February 20th! 3 days later she took 2 little ones in a row and has been doing them here and there since. It's been exciting. It's fun to watch her contemplate stepping because if she chooses not to...it's either sit and crawl (total cheat!) or the most entertaining belly flop and giggle.
Standing all by herself
I'm still trying to decide if I like the headband look and tried it today. I think it's cute but will probably resort to the little bows. Not to mention, I don't think she be allowing them to stay put.
The latest about Caylee:
  • started talking more: yayaya and bababa
  • she continues to like to hear herself yell and sing
  • she loves to make a mess
  • she stick out her bottom lip a lot with that pout look
  • she can be so serious
  • she loves her pacifier (ugh)
  • she has started the throwing game and gets a real kick out what she can throw
  • she loves her brother's toys way more than her own
  • she has the greatest little laugh but Aiden still is the one that can get her to laugh the most...she is still a tough crowd
  • she's doing well on baby food, hates peas!, but we still need to get more table foods added
  • she's a total mama's girl and gets all whiny when I leave a room (most of the time I love the popularity, but sometimes it makes house work very difficult)
  • she loves her brother so very much and also likes to beat up on him a bit, the future should have a lot of fun in store
  • she can be quite forceful and loud when she wants something, and has learned that crying usually gets her what she wants...from all parties
  • she pinches and pulls hair
  • she is very entertaining and we all love her so very much
Some pics of the month:
Loves my phone

This video shows what she is capable of and of course she chooses to break out this noise in a restaurant full of people.
