I took yesterday off and we went up to Williams to go to Bearizona and spend the night. It was a real good time. First, it was a real treat being in cold weather and actually needing a jacket...haven't had too much of that this year. This was Caylee's first road trip and over night stay and I would like to say she wasn't the easiest. However, I have had it easy for some years now with Aiden being older so it was kind of a hurdle with traveling with such a little one again. We had a very good time and managed to not get eaten by wolves or bears so I think that defines success! We drove through the park first and saw the animals, then did the open bus tour where we got to see the animals again but being fed by driver, and then spent time looking at the enclosed animals in the "zoo like" area. Aiden was a little overly worried about the wolf and bear area (as I suppose any normal human being should) and made sure we were following the rules and had windows up right away. It took him awhile to warm up to the idea of having them so close to our vehicle and was all about it by the bus tour when we saw all the animals again.

That looks like fun. Maybe some day when you get back to AZ I can get out there again and we can go. Would love to see the wolves and bears up close. Looks like everyone had a great time.
