28 is old, but it isn't hitting as hard as 27 did. However, I'm well on my way to 30....ay ay ay! On Sunday I celebrated with my family. It was quite low key and exactly how I intended it. On Saturday I had 2 of my wisdom teeth removed. Not so much fun. This event required my next few days and birthday to be filled with pain, pain meds, ibuprofen, and a liquid and mush diet. Not really how I would have planned it, but I had to get it done before school started. They did pizza and cake...and I had ice cream! Mint Chocolate Chip from Baskin Robbins...my favorite! I (with much help from Aiden) opened great gifts and had great company....they only slightly made fun of my loopy pain medication demeanor, so it made for a fun time. I am very blessed and having my family all together celebrating with me was all I could have wanted.

Tonight we went to Famous Dave's where Ashley and Levi came and celebrated with me again and then Anne and Mike joined us too. With my mouth still on the mend, this was just enough to feel birthday love.
Thank you Mom and Dad Rowe for the thoughtful and relaxing gifts! Thank you to everyone that made my birthday special...I love you all very much!
