In teacher world this stands for Drop Everything And Read....and I have to say Aiden will drop everything and read. I can't keep from feeling such great awe from all the books that he loves to read. I love that he now shuts his door so that he is all by himself in his room to read and I just listen through the door as he jibber jabbers away. He will take a snack and plop in his recliner and flip through books. He will carry books from room to room and sit down in the middle of floors or the hall to just flip pages and talk about the pictures. He will open up a book and insist that we listen as he tells us all about the pictures {which I hope to completely understand someday soon :)}.
I keep stealing books back from my classroom that I spent so much time and money building before Aiden was around. I love being able to take advantage of the Scholastic Book Clubs I send home with my students and get him more books at pretty good prices. I can see us having way too many books in our future! But then again, can you have too many books?

I agree you can never have "too many books!" :)
