Today Aiden started having horrible abdominal pain. I came down from putting Caylee down and he was crying in pain on the couch. He said he hurt and he was in the fetal position. I've never seen him like that so I was instantly scared. I told him if it hurts that bad then we need to go to the doctor...that scared him and he tried to tell me he was fine but he couldn't even fake through that. I told him if he was fine then he needed to be able to walk upstairs...he couldn't. I freaked and we were off to urgent care. My first fear was appendicitis even though he wasn't getting sick...like I said I've never seen him in so much pain he could barely walk. We got to urgent care and he just laid in the chair in pain...
Once we got in he cried to get his vitals done and get checked by doctor. The doc ruled out appendicitis because of the location and said we'd check for urine infection but thati it could possibly be constipation. After a mini meltdown we finally got the sample...and once he gave the sample all of a sudden he felt better. We had to go to ER to get X-ray just in case...and it turned out that yes...constipation. So my kid is literally full of it. I'm thankful that it wasn't something more serious even after we spent 4 hours today going from place to place to find out. He walked away with his X-ray as a souvenier and is being a skeleton here:
I do not like to see my baby boy in pain...I'm so glad he's OK and I think he learned a valuable lesson in not ignoring his body. Hopefully this doesn't happen again!
