Freedom Fest 2014

Holloman Air Force Base's July 4th festivities are on the 3rd. The sky looked nasty and we had a lighting in 5 warning but apparently that is tradition here...it always threatens to rain and otherwise does and then passes or teases and goes away. That was the word on the street anyway. Tonight was a tease and blow over night. I was pretty impressed with the event and it was a fun time (bouncy houses, balloon animals, circus show, go-karts, fire truck, food, etc) with a great firework show to end the evening. Because Jason is on swings he technically was "working", which is why he was in uniform, but I am lucky he was able to leave work and have his phone on him in case of emergency and still enjoy the evening with us...it would have sucked with out him.
