Thank goodness Jason was able to visit this weekend for Mother's Day...it would have been kind of sucky without him. On Friday, my wonderful mother-in-law sent me an edible arrangement with a very sweet note and then I got some awesome flowers from the hubby and kids with another amazing note. Today we hung out and stayed low key and it was great. We were together. Last night I sat on the couch and watched this:
My life. My beautiful family. The reason I'm a mom. Those 3 give me the air I breathe and a reason everyday to be better. Today I watched my 2 babies sit together and was so very thankful for them.
This was my first Mother's Day with both of my blessings here. We are complete now and makes me cherish this day so much. I have 4 best days of my life...April 5th, 2002 when I met the love of my life, April 17th, 2004 when I married that love, September 27th, 2008 when I had my son that made me "Mom", and June 4th, 2013 when I had my daughter. The days these two gifts were born added beauty and meaning to our lives and the world. My memory of those days are forever special. I love you two so much and I wish "you could see yourself through my eyes; then you'd see how amazing you really are".
