Ashley's wedding was a blast! There were all the best details of a
great wedding...absolutely the greatest group of friends and family, plenty of amazing food, an open and overflowing bar (with syringe jello shots no less!), and music that kept everyone dancing. BUT! There were also quirks of the
greatEST wedding....of course the previous mentioned ceremony grasshopper that willed me to fall into the jacuzzi, and then during the reception we had the cops show up, a fire, and even rain. Yes, the cops showed up at 8:30. Lame. On both parts, the neighbors for calling and for the cops to even show up when they knew we had until 10. We knew we had until 10....simmer down! Then fast forward and a napkin makes it's way over a candle and catches fire. I grabbed it and threw it to the floor and began stomping while another person grabbed water and through it on the fire on the table. That could have potentially been way worse because it happened to miss the real flower centerpiece, and not to mention we took care of this while some intoxication had already occurred. But it was fine, we melted the linens to the table but all survived. Whew. And last, on a perfectly clear day (although hella windy to the point of annoying when trying to get ready for the wedding!) we were all dancing when all of a sudden we all were drizzled with a light rain. Not understanding where the heck it came from...my Aunt Carole told us that it was Grandma Carter sending her blessings. I agree. Perfect. These details make up the greatest of memories and the greatest of weddings! Now for the pictures...
