Kentucky Holiday! Day 1

We were up at 3 am and on the plane by 7:00....it was an early start but at least we were on a non-stop flight to Cincinnati. This was Aiden's first flight sitting in the seat as a big boy...no car seat. He settled in nicely and was very good for a 3 year old stuck in a seat for 4 hours.

The catch 22 part of the flight was that we were in the very front row with all the leg room, however that means you have arm rests that do not go up because that is where the trays are. When Aiden got sleepy he had a very hard time getting comfortable and sleeping soundly.

This caused a shorter nap than he would have taken had he been comfortable, so we had a bit of a crank toward the end of the flight. All-in-all a successful flight and we caught some shut-eye. When we arrived in Cincinnati we had to drive an hour and a half to Winchester, KY to see the Rowe Family. It was quick and traffic free and Aiden was out stretching his legs in no time. He loved the grass and big beautiful trees with nice big leaves. Not really the scenery around these parts amidst all the cacti and dirt.

It was wonderful to see everyone again and Aiden got to meet Great Grandma and Papa Rowe for the first time. We hung out and goofed off

Towards the end of the night the camera came out with the intention of taking some normal family pictures. Aiden was quite uncooperative...

...so we gave up quickly and switched modes with crazy hats and props. Good Laughs.
