It's our second one in a row! Last year Aiden was pretty scared of the balloons and this year was no different. We saw a lot of really neat balloons but the size and noise of the fire freaked him out. He liked them from far away but as we got closer he was not loving it. He got used to it (munching on popcorn helped distract him) but never started enjoying them. The great thing was we got to load of the wagon and use it for the first time. Aiden loved it! It was pretty chilly so he was able to be all bundled up with a blanket and ride in style.

We ended the night at the petting zoo where Aiden had a blast. He was like a little ping pong ball going from one animal to another to pet them. He did not want to feed them at all but just loved getting to be around them. He even "bock bock"ed at a chicken...it made me laugh. He loved the pig the most and wanted to sit down next to him and pet him the longest.
As much as Aiden was scared, it's all he can talk about now. Last night he talked about everything he saw the whole ride home and today he wants to look at the pictures over and over, especially the one of the polar bear. It was fun :)
