Animals!

Aiden loves animals! Today we figured why not enjoy this beautiful winter weather (it was in the 70's and sunny!) at the zoo down the street. When I mentioned it to him, he was so excited and was jumping up and down and couldn't contain himself. It was the cutest thing ever and made it even more rewarding to take him knowing how happy it made him. We saw the same animals we always see but we got a real close encounter with what Aiden called a reindeer (can't remember what it really was). He was very interested in us and was close enough to pet. I almost got the guts enough to do it but then Jason said he might bite my hand off :)

Aiden really enjoyed feeding the giraffes today. He would drop the food and then pull his hand back real quick so that the tongue didn't touch him. It was funny.

We actually did something we haven't done yet and rode the train. It's cool because it takes you into the fields with the animals and we got pretty close to some. At one point we were TOO close to some ostriches and those are creepy and evil! Aiden loved it and just sat back and enjoyed. I think he loved being on the train more than paying attention to the animals we saw while on the train.
