Easter at the Zoo...

Our Zooster, if you will? So clever...haha...Anyways, we went to the zoo again. I know it seems like we go all the time, and yes we were there only 2 weeks ago, but we enjoy it and it is close to home. We went with my Mom, Clayton, Ashley, and Levi...all of which had not been to this zoo before. Thanks to my Mom we have really great pictures of our day...

Feeding the giraffes is one of the coolest things to do at the zoo. I think they are just so cute! 2 weeks ago we were not able to do it so I was excited to get the chance this time. Aiden even likes it and tried to feed them.

After we were done with the pond we were passing the carousel and Aiden was "Woo"ing at it so we took him on a ride. It was so cute. We put him on the tiger because it was the one stationary animal that didn't go up and down. When the ride started he went "wee"...so adorable...

After the ride was over he threw a complete fit! He was not happy that it was over so we gave him another ride but tried the horse that moved up and down. He wasn't as thrilled about that...

The positive? He didn't throw a fit when THAT ride was over :)

Then we saw a duck with her cute babies just walking through the zoo...

Our last stop was the aquarium. Aiden was able to experience the interactive areas this time...like the starfish...

Then we moved on to the stingray area...that was fun...Aiden was not digging the little creatures in the pool at first...

But Jason was persistent and helped him see that they were harmless and he started to get used to them...

Here I am making fun of the zoo person that was giving the rules about 2 fingers to touch the stingrays...

THEN, I decided to get food to feed the stingrays and totally ruined Aiden's time. I had never done it before and I was not expecting it to feel so weird...so Aiden finally got the chance to pet the stingray that I happened to be feeding...I screamed...and scared the crap out of Aiden. I felt awful!!!

Another fun day at the zoo! Thanks again to my mom for capturing the memories for us!
