Last Saturday night (after the Cardinals lost, ugh!) we went to downtown Glendale for the finale of Glendale's Glitter and Glow. It had awesome hot air balloons and carnival rides and carnival food. There were tons of people, which made having a stroller just a blast (yes, sarcasm) but it was a fun time. When we showed up, of course
Aiden was scared of the hot air balloons. I expected him to enjoy them lighting up but apparently the size of them made them terrifying. He was very clingy for a while....
Then we
stopped where one of the bands were playing and dancing shook his fears away :)
He enjoyed running around and watching people climb the rock wall or ride the rides. We ate some carnival food and had some
homemade root beer (it was
OK) and then headed home. It was a fun night and it was nice to not have to pay admission or parking. Nice to know there are some free events our there still...
