One year...

One year ago today...I was sitting in my own office at a dream job I had just started when Jason called me to tell me we had orders to NM. The event I knew we had escaped for too long had happened. That day, my life was rattled completely and it's interesting to see where we are 365 days later. We've had our challenges and emotional roller coaster moments but when it's all said and done we are happy. Is there anything else I can ask for? I miss my family and friends so much...that's truth every single day...but I have also met some really great people here too that I already feel I'm lucky to know. Once the news settled in, I trusted that we'd all be fine because we were together and home is where your family is. Turns out we are just that...fine 😊
