Facebook win

Because of Facebook I have been lucky enough to reconnect with 2 of my most wonderful students (and their amazing mother! ) who were in my very first and second classes. They posted this picture tonight and it made my night! It comes at a very important transition for me...I'm 2 days away from starting my tenth year of teaching at a brand new school, in a brand new state. This clearly reminds me why this is my career. The connections and relationships that are made. I was so blessed to have met such a wonderful family way back then and now to see the incredible individuals that they have become. I can't believe they are one and two years from graduating high school!
