Swim Lessons

Aiden started taking swim lessons from Miss Kilmain who works as a kindergarten teacher at my school. He is doing very well SKILL wise but his behavior is not exactly high quality in my mom book. Miss Kilmain referred to him as a "fire cracker"....which is code for not the best behaved. Now, 60 minutes IS a long time and he's 4 (almost 5) so I'm sure I'm being too hard on him but I want my expectations high. But back to his skill...at first he was afraid to even put his head under the water so she thought this was going to be a rough journey but he got over it quickly and was dunking his head and practicing blowing bubbles by the end of his first lesson.

By today he was already practicing swimming under the water and we were super proud of him. Miss Kilmain will be out for surgery for a while but I hope this is a good start and we can finish up in Spring and have him semi on his own by summer time.
