Teacher or Mom?

Aiden has good days and bad days at school. I can say he has more good than bad but he is definitely learning the ways of the classroom and what choices he should and should not make. Today was one of those OK days that had some ups and downs. One of those downs found Aiden frustrated at the owl they were supposed to make and instead of pushing through and asking for more help, he decided to throw away his work and not finish. This is when I'm trying to figure out if the Mom trying to teach her kid from right and wrong OR the teacher came into play. I'm thinking the latter. I was not happy and I asked for another copy of that assignment and told Ms. Bre that she would have this assignment to her done, and done well, on Monday morning. We came straight home and he was not able to do a thing before that project was completed. The assignment also was partnered with a little post-it note that Aiden wrote "sorry" on for his teacher. I hope he learned that the Mom or the teacher in me will not allow for that behavior...ever.
