Mario finally got dressed tonight! We thought it might not happen for a split second but then he came around. I tried to put some eyeshadow on his lip and it lasted about as long as this picture, but I got one picture so I'm happy. We loaded him up in the wagon and brought Bailey along for some good ol' trick-or-treating. Aiden was very choosy about the houses...nothing scary. We went up and down about 3 streets, he was doing a good job saying "trick-or-treat" and "thank you", and would say "Let's go to the next halloween" when it was time for the next house. Then all of a sudden he was done and said it was time to go home.

We were home within an hour and had some time to pass out some candy ourselves. Aiden helped but mainly raided his candy and ate what he wanted. Naturally he had the sugar high to go with it and then crashed....
You would think this means bedtime right? Can you see me gently carrying him to bed and him peacefully going to sleep? Ha! Yeah right! He abruptly woke up:
Aiden: Where we going?
Mom: To bed honey, you fell asleep
Aiden: No (crying)
Mom: Honey it's late....
Aiden: NO.... (more crying)
That's pretty much how every night's bedtime conversation goes but it makes me laugh more when he was already completely passed out and he still does not want to surrender to sleep. I'd give anything for someone to beg me to go to sleep. That conversation would end with saying OK and my head hitting the pillow. Anywho, Halloween was a good time and another one has come and gone. Until the next time!
